it can depends on the number of backlinks on external sites. the more thet are, the fastest can be the indexing
Try to submit a good article to Ezine Articles and it will help you to be fast indexed. i tried this for two my sites and it really works.
I think we can not do if Google will not index site. We can only promote our site and nothing else we can do.
I had submitted to 32 high quality SB sites having a PR of 8 to 5 and my site got indexed after one 15 days
Only PR 1 ? That is the top spot. lol I have a system where you can find your website in 3-6 hours after publishing. I use Google applications that link directly to the website url. Site indexing usually takes about a week.
since it is new it will take some time to get indexed, once after indexing you will get your posts indexed in the matter of hours
The time it takes to get indexed depends on too many factors to name. Depending on the quality of your marketing and site, you can be indexed anywhere within a few hours to a couple weeks.
It could take weeks submitting it directly to Google. Use SocialMarker.com to see a lot of the social bookmarking sites that you need to use to get backlinks from. Submit your site to 5 - 10 of them and you'll get indexed in no time. If it's a blog, use pingomatic.com after you've made a least one post and you'll get indexed within a day or two.
I registered the domain and the next day it get indexed. It depends on what you are creating, if there something wrong with a websites or blog technically, it will take sometime. Usually my blogs and domain names get indexed in 2 days.
I usually take advantage of those link building strategies that are proven fast in making your site be indexed or known in major search engines. Like I post links to some forums who allows link posting like in classifieds forum, or introducing you website to a topic-related forum. Since forums are crawled by SE bots more often. Also, press release submission sites that have do follow link post could help your site indexed within a month.
isn't there a website out there that just automatically pings all of the metric sites (like Quantcast, Alexa) that mentions your site is there?
It really depends how long it will take to get indexed, but with my experience, it took about 3 or 4 weeks.
