How long until site recovers

I recently rewrote my htaccess files on my sites to pass the 301 redirect test at ragepank http://www.ragepank.com/redirect-check/ I was wondering how long would it take for my sites to recover from this. As far as the search engines are concerned.

    Thanks
    Ryan

Usually takes a few weeks for search results and 1 or 2 Pagerank updates.

Mine comes up 200 for the four standard variations of any homepage. Does this really hurt your ranking?

I guess the point the guy from ragepank.com is making with this is that google could see these as duplicate content

So we don't know for sure that this is the case? I guess what I am asking is if this is just speculation or do we know this to be fact?

This is fact. Just like the www version and non-www version of your domain name is considered a different page. This is why we 301 redirect one to the other.

Is there anyway to know when the search engines have caught up to my changes other than just watching for my serps to change back?

    Thanks,
    Ryan
