How Long Until Google Recognizes My Back-links?

Hello Everyone,

As the title reads I would like to know how long it is until Google recognizes the back-links to my site. I have quite a few since I have my link on two blogs from my industry which links from every page to my home page.

Any Ideas?

as per my knowledge , it depends on which site you have the the back link ,if that site has good ranking in google results your back link immediately recognised by google.

 

What Samerick said, but if you want to see the links for yourself it depends which source you use to check backlinks.
In some sources they never appear, but in others they show almost immediately after they've been indexed.

From my experience, the best source for checking backlinks is SEO Spyglass....google it up, they have a free membership option.

 

Thanks that is what I am using now and it states that all my back-links are recognized with yahoo, not Google?

 

I think you should give it a little more time before they show up.
Especially if they are quite new.

But, as soon as they are indexed, they should appear in SEO Spyglass also.

It should not be long if your links are on pages indexed by google.

 

It is very hard to say. Those links from article submission to Ezinearticles appear almost immediately. Those links from commenting in Hubpages appear in Webmaster report within 2 weeks. However, blog commenting links can take a few weeks to appear.

 

How long have your links been live?

 

If the links are dofollow, they should show up in a couple of weeks. Sooner if you submit their homepage to the search engines again (this will prompt a recrawl, which will pull up your link).

Maybe it can help if you build links to your backlinks too. Try bookmarking it or submitting its RSS feeds.

Generally speaking, outbound links on high PR(above 5) sources would be crawled more frequently and thus would picked up more promptly. Also, a ping service link ping-o-matic after your posts would be helpful for this purpose.

It should appear pretty quickly. As said in earlier posts, if the links are from sites that are crawled very often, then they should count pretty quickly.

 

i guess less than a week. i google sees mine in just 3 days
