General question to all you SEO Experts; let's say 3 sites link to your page with the proper anchor name. How long until Google gives value to those one way links and reflects this change in the SERPS provided, of course, you did the proper on-page optimization?
Depending on how effective the links are (the pr, the niche and keywords) it can happen in days or weeks. It all depends on when that website gets crawled and reindexed by google and other search engines. Hope this helps Brandon
Brandon gave the answer. It depends on indexing speed, etc. It appears that from the time a link is detected it's first creditted to your site *about* 2 weeks later (very rough estimate) and that links acquire strength over time so it will be worth more after 3 months than 3 weeks THOUGH this may be due to changes in the backlinking sites that aren't being reflected (just noting the limitations of my observations). As a general rule, keep building them.
As soon as they get fully indexed into Google. This could take a week or two. If your website is new and you have an enormous amount of backlinks, that may not help out your website at all.
If it's a new website and you got lots of backlinks, google might see this as a manipulation to their SE and your site will be penalized.
The other big factor is how much trust you site has (how long it has been around age wise). Trust worthly sites may see the effects of links faster than newer sites.
Until the site providing the link is spidered by the search engines, you won't get any help at all. Once the link is found by the search engines, any positive effects should take effect pretty quickly.
Actually I have seen a delayed effect. And while the positive effects there are short term positives - the long term results will change depending on the quality of the site linking back to you as well as other your site optimization.
This depend on how fast Google index your website. Usually it takes a few days. Google only shows a random set of backlinks to your website. So don't depend on Google to show you everything they know because they don't. Google refreshes their index several times a month. Social bookmarking will helps a lot.
No one can say other than Google about this.. it depends upon indexing od those links and Backlinks update/PR Update.. it may take 2 days to 4 months..
For google ranking not only from back links many other factor too considering. Age and content quality also other important for ranking. many site have more than 50 BL but nor PR. So by this 3 or 4 can assure any PR
