How long until after a thread is posted...

...is it no longer considered a duplicate thread if I post it again? In other words, how long should I wait after posting an offer to remain safe from being penalized for posting a duplicate thread if I were to post the same thread again? Thanks.

 

There is no circumstance that would make it acceptable to post a duplicate thread. The thread is always there, so there is no reason to create another one.

If you are concerned that your thread isn't receiving any attention, you can always put a link in your signature referring to it.
