How long to test Adsense

    I have been testing adsense with different position. My results are bad. How many days do you wait to try something better.

    If you get 2 uniques a day, wait 6 months.

    It's about significant exposure and data to analyse, number of days have little to do with that.

    So it depends on your traffic.

    I wouldn't measure it as how long. Wait till you get 1000 page views with the ad in one position, then change it, wiat for a 1000 more views and compair the CTR.

    It is one complete cycle. :)
    Now cycle varies publisher to publisher.
    And you must know what is your earning cycle !!!

    there isn't a formule to test adsense for sure! it depends on your site contents, traffic ;)

    it takes time and i wouldnt say its going to happen over night either. i would say test ti out for a week or so

    I usually don't have more than 3 very good or very bad days in a row. A week should be more than enough to gauge how the new positions are doing.

    if you get 2 uniques a day, why you even put ads in your site ... go care about the traffic and forget about the ads for a while ...

    You have to decide what kind of data you want. But Anything between 100-200 is good enough to make a wild guess. 200-400 is great.

    I will never make mistake to wait for 1000 unique visitors. Rather than I will take 100 and make a guess. It still give me 10 times to make wild guess. And To my best Knowledge i have craked it within 3 or 4 try.
