how long to get validated?

i jsut signed up this morning, but my clients want to know how long it takes to get approved and validated.

any ideas?

 

If you cant autovalidate (like me!) you need to wait for Shaun to manually do it - see my other post - I'm still waiting but sure I have it set up correctly

 

thanks... i put it on the home page just to try it out again... but the auto validate didn't work.

but I honestly dodn't have time to look into further this moment.

 

To validate, the ads must be on ALL pages. If you're only testing on the home page, and no other pages, you will not validate.

 

Mine are in a subdirectory - all on - no auto validate

 

and I'm providing free advertising on 5,000 pages

 

from what I've heard, Shawn's in Russia.. so that may be why it's taking a tad bit longer than normal.

 

wait a second... you have to run this on every page????

i thought you could run it as much or as little as wanted?

 

no, if you read the instructions, it says to place it on every page "below" the base..

if you sign up as www.domain.com/folder/ then www.domain.com/folder/, www.domain.com/folder/page1.html, www.domain.com/folder/page2.html, etc all need to have it. www.domain.com/page1.html pages wouldn't.

 

I've taken my ads down until Shaun gets back - sorry guys

 

I am waiting for the completion of my site before I can sign up, I am sure that's the one where I saw it say you have to be 100% done before you click go..!

 

It just takes a little while.. it took me several days when I first signed up, and that was across 120,000+ pages.

It's worth it if you participate

 

ah yes - but it won't validate - another site validated straight away
