How long to get ranked?

I wonder how long does it usually take to get a new site ranked in Google? I built some new sites about a month ago, I've also built links - quite a lot of links - about 500 - 1,000 for each site (mostly forum signatures). The sites are already indexed in Google, but are not yet ranked in the search results for the title's keywords.

I wonder how long does it usually take to get a new site ranked in Google? It will hardly be the first page, but I at least would like to know where I am.

You can find one of these sites is in my sig (Logo Design), this one has almost 2 weeks now.

Takes longer than that to get site listed for some terms. Google list sites slower and slower. New sites might be listed then disappear and come back later.

Just keep working on site and getting links.

Forum signatures don't offer that much of a 'weight'.. also, from how many different forums?

How long it takes to rank depends on the niche and the website, competition, etc.

The logodesign website in your sig? That appears to have no backlinks, not even on Yahoo.

    Seo takes time
Age of domain is one factor and olso the competitivity of those keyphrases counts ....

Olsoonly sign links don't have power get webdirectory submissions articles etc

Hard to guess, depend on domain age/site content and backlinks, btw blog generally indexed faster.

Doesn't take too long. 3- 5 days for me, or it could be sooner if you get lucky, could be longer if you're unlucky.
