How Long to get ranked on Yahoo?

Sorry to ask a dumb question - but what exactly do you mean by "using site explorer properly" - are you supposed to submit your site or something?

 

My experience tells me that submitting site to Yahoo gets indexed fast as compared to Google. I have seen my sites getting indexed in yahoo from 2-4 weeks. Yahoo does give credit to good content may rank higher even if site is new.

 

I want to know how long does it takes to get ranked on Yahoo?

 

I normally get indexed in the first week so i would say 7 days

 

Its usually been 1-2 weeks for me with new sites, provided i have a few links from pr 4 sites.

 

Seems 2 -3 months for me, but I don'y optomise for yahoo. After this them seem to slowly die die if fresh links are not added, thus Yahoo seems to reward quick linking unlike G.
They also seemed more theemed. For instance a general site with loads of relevant links ranks poorly, whist a crappy site, with a good domain name stays at the top with no links.
So I would say they like niche sites more
