First I would like to say Hello, I'm new to the group and this is my first post.

How long should you let an ad run after it is first set up and live before you start to tweak it. In the past I would let the ad run 3 days before changing anything but I just looking for other opinions as to how long of a period gives you a true feel for your ad performance. I'm referring to before you change anything (bid price, ad copy ect.)

Thanks, any help would be greatly appreciated!!!:D

Yep - and the more clear-cut a problem is, the sooner you can spot it...

If you're cost per conversion on a keyword is £500 (compared to a campaign average of £30), you'll notice it a lot quicker than if it's £60...

I typically run an ad for 150-200 clicks to see if it converts.

If your sales funnel/process is long or the item is high-priced then it makes sense to wait longer and spend more to try and make the sale.
