I think 6 months, if it's like other international cheques.

Yep. I looked at the check before I went to the bank and it didn't have any sort of expiration date at all.

It behooves them to not put an expiration date on it. The longer people wait to cash their check, the more interest they make. So everybody is happy :)

The US banks consider a check "stale" after six months.

I just ate three myself. Fortunalty my customers replaced them. But now they think I'm doing to well if I can sit on that much money for 8 months. :/

My checks have never had any 90 days note on them

Stupid dollar is so weak right now that I'd rather hang on to the check untill the dollar gets more expensive

Banks won't cash a check if it is more than 6 months old. I used to be a member of clickthru way back and 10 months after requesting money, i finally got the check ($500+). The bank never cashed it, it was dated 10 months earlier and they said it was a 6 month limit. On a good note, clickthru re-issued the check and I had it in 2 weeks.

As romain said legally they can refuse you after 6 months. I asked the bank the same question and its the same in Aus.
