It will depend on your efforts. How much time you have taken to build links through articles and directories.Choose competitive terms for long term gain and try to be consistent in whatever you do and you would be just ok.

Difficult to figure out. Would depend on:

    1. Site theme.
    2. Age of site.
    3. Competitors.
    4. Keyword competitiveness (rel to #3).
    5. Frequency of site updates.
    6. Ability to draw significantly authoritative links.

It really depends on the keywords.

I managed to have position 6 AND 7 for some medium difficulty keywords within 2 months and with a PR0 website.

it simple go to page 1 for your keyword, check out how many backlinks your competitors have and where from, then if the leading site has 1500 backlinks work until your site has 1700 backlinks, you can use the backlinks they have to approach for links and search for your own, nothing beats related websites, especially high pr related websites.

There is no guarantee for this.

But, the things you can do to get it to the Top Ten SEPR Rank faster are:

    1. Buy a old domain with various inbound links having the anchor text "Harry" or "Potter"
    2. Have numerous quality information, articles, tools, widgets, toys, and others for viral marketing
    3. Hire more than 100 Link Builders that will provide link to your site from websites, blogs, social media, forums.
    4. If you run out of links to link your site from related sites with the word "Harry Potter". Try marketing with "Harry" & "Potter" separately :D
    5. Provide high incentives for affiliates who are SEO experts

I hope you would apply them ;)
