How long should a link stay?

    Hi everybody I have a website and I have linked to it from a PR4 & PR3 sites is there a period of time that I can remove the links and still keep mt pages PRs :confused: or I have to keep the links forever?

    You loose link juice and PR immediately after Google recognizes that you removed links.

    Are you asking if you can remove the links, then put them back up within a day or so? I wouldn't remove all the backlinks at once, unless they are all on one site and there is no way to avoid it. If this is the case, just do what you have to do and put them back up as quickly as you can. What you can do is, every 3 hours, monitor the ranking of your top keyword at Google and when the rank changes, do what you have to do to your backlinks. But I'm giving this advice based on thinking that you are going to put your backlinks up at your other site.
