How Long Should a GoDaddy Push Take?

I've bought a few web-sites via forums in the last few weeks. A couple that I purchased a week ago, the push was initiated by the seller, and I got an email like this:

    Change of Registrant Pending
....You may be asked to log in to your account.

Then follows details of how to "Accept Account Change", and provides a Transcation ID & Security Code.

After a week, there is nothing for me to approve in my account, and no further emails from GoDaddy. It's a GoDaddy to GoDaddy push.

    Should it take this long?

    Thanks,
    Rob

It should take about 2 minutes. You may want to contact their support.

The acceptance part where you input your 2 codes is tricky to find. After you login to your godaddy account select your domain control center. Then select pending transfers. In the upper right hand corner there is a button for authorization. Hover over it and select begin transfer authorization. Finally you can then input the two needed codes. The domain should appear on your list within an hour.

    Thanks Basefunding!

    Two lessons learnt:

    1) Read instructions slowly
    2) Don't fall for red herrings, like messages saying "No pending account changes in list."

Is there any way to find out the previous nameservers of a domain?

No problem. It took me over a week to realize this myself. Godaddy could make this much easier in my opinion.
