How Long Search Engines counts directory listings?

    Everyday new directories are launching .Can anybody tell me please value of these new directory links?

    well, if you asked that of certain directories, for example DMOZ, on the day they were created, then you probably know the answer. ;)

    On the day they are launched is 0
    Look to put your link on directories that have some created value, for example custom skin and some pr5 – pr6 backlinks at least.
    Run away from cookie-cutter templates and directories with only pr3 and less backlinks, they will probably not last for more than 1 year.
