How Long is Too Long - Loading Google Sitemaps

    How long is too long? I know 10 MB is max for google, but when I opened my wordpress plugin, this is what it said:

    "The building process took about 29.4 seconds to complete and used 5.75 MB of memory."

    Is 29.4 seconds too long?

    No this is not too long. If it does not return an error then you are o.k.

    Please refer to the link the the site sitemaps.org/protocol.php#informing for more information regarding sitemap. I found it while using the MSN webmaster tool for the site for which i am doing seo. As the resource is from MSN Webmaster tool so atleast we can rely.
