So many of us are addicted to our AdSense and other PPC stats, even our webstats that when something is not updated for a few hours we go bananas. Therefore, I wonder what effect the internet is having on our sense of time. So, just how long is a long time nowadays?

In my real world business, I have noticed that people's sense of history is such that three years is an historical trend and they cannot clearly remember anything that happended before that. But, what of us webmasters?

Depends on what we're talking about. One week with no Adsense update is a long time. 15 minutes with no internet access is a long time. 75 years of being a virgin is a LONG time!!! :D

It's all relative... the question doesn't really make sense unless you put it into context. All these timeframes could be considered a long time in different situations.
