English started of as my last language, but is now my 1st language. and i am 25 in 2 weeks time.
speaking english a few weeks after birth, i guess. it's a second language. aint going to say my first language, as i like having the ability to type without an accent
I have been speaking and writing english since I was in grade school. It is a subject taught in our school.
I have never left the USA, so I have used it almost all of my life. I started speaking English a little later that my sister did (10 years older than me) but when I did start speaking, I spoke in complete sentences, like "The ball went over there."
Ever since I was old enough to do so as it is my naive tongue. Not sure how I learned it aside from my parents so many years ago. I doubt they had 'Hooked on Phonics' back then. I bet Sesame Street played a small role in it!
I speak English at school (we have to, and I hate it.. but I'm actually thankful), I speak my native language at home and at some other places (except school).
Ever since I was born, when I popped out and the doctors looked at me, I said "Yo Homies wassuppp" IT
