Was just checking to see if the related sites for a few of my sites had changed at all and they sure had! Each of my individual sites were related to nothing but themselves. Looks like I am in pretty good and common company. http://www.google.com/search?q=related:www.si.com/&num=100&hl=en&lr=&filter=0 http://www.google.com/search?num=100&hl=en&lr=&q=related:www.cisco.com etc ... How can Google determine which links are "relevant and related" if they consider a site to be essentually related to nothing but itself? Has this issue been around for quite a while and I am just finally noticing it?
I am not exactly sure what the related thing is there for and how should it even work. What does it mean by related sites? Duplicate sites or something? Seriously I have never found a use for it, it would be much better to look in a directory for the category of your site to find "related" websites. I don't think that tool has ever been well. Everytime I have used it, it has failed me IT
