how long google takes to update the PR?

Google normally update blogs Page Rank every three months..But my site is still at a PR2

 

now a days, it take around 4 to 6 month, where is last office google pr update ?

 

it has happened 2-3 times per year.

I think when it done 3month once, Still Google not update PR

 

every few months, i think that when they launched caffine they waites 6 months for the update

 

It seems Google doesn't concentrate on the PR as it does for its other ventures

 

google did not update PR for long time....I think it is about 6 month google do not update PR....
I just think that PR is not important anymore...just keep focus on SERP....

 

Too long! Wish they would do it a lot sooner than 3 months

 

The latest update was on 02 Apr. 2010, more than 6 moths. But it is expected the next PR update will take on November.

 

Your site content got nothing to do with PR. How google bot know your site content is "good"? There is no way for a robot to determine is content good or not

 

Accoring to my PR knowledge,Google updates Pagerank every 4 times a year.

 

They update PR more frequently in the winters if you remember the last few years. Usually they update 4 times in a year.

 

Figure it this way: Google has never missed the New Years update, which always occurs sometime the last week of December or the first week of January.

 

Thank you all for answering I am actually more confused now, few saying it does matter and few saying it doesn't matter???

 

Normally 3 months but next updates no one knows.

 

hahahaha, thatz the magic question which has not been answered since last 6 months and 15 days now..... It was supposed to be every 3 months or in the end of October, however it seems google has skipped one update and now they will do it at the end of the year.

 

Normally it s take 3 to 4 months but from past few months google didn't updated any PR.

 

I would say google give more pref to those links which come from related sites and have good PR or Good search result in google
