How long Google takes to index links

If I bought some links when they should start working?

 

Well you can see the result after the google updates.

 

It seems like it takes longer and longer. You used to see links in few weeks now months sometimes.

 

What do you mean links?
As it other website links?

I think it depends on how often that site is being spidered.

 

Just add your link in Digitalpoint members signature link with many posts..
your link will get indexed on next day I have experience.

Are you asking when they will index your site from the backlinks to it, or simply '' recording'' of the backlinks when you do a link: yoursite.com query

 

Depends where you put them, but I see many immediately. I think it improves ranking within weeks.
Lets not confuse PR data export with actual PR. The toolbar shows the data of the latest export from Google, but the actual PR is calculated fresh daily (me thinks). PR is not that relevant but there is not much in the way of gaging the benefit of a link.
So you should see some benefit very quickly.
Since G. also considers other factors such as link age and amount of fresh links each day, the benefits increase over time.
The data they show you (as gr8liverpoolfan said) is not representative.

If you submit your site to google, it takes 6 weeks to be indexed but if you use backlinks, number of backlinks is not important the imortant thing is the PR of the pages wich link to your site
if you get a vote(page link to your website) from a PR7 page you will be indexed within 12 hr
if you get a vote from a PR5 or 6 you will be index within 24 to 48 hr

if you mean , how long does it take to effect to my toolbar page rank ? you must wait until the next page rank update . this time is usually 3 months

6 months I think it's ok for Google to index your links ... but rember they only show Quality backlinks
