How long Google stores content?

If one has a site full of content and then decides to change hosting, domain and all, and then put all of the old content on the new site, will this be considered as doubled content by Google?

How long after closing a site it takes that a site is removed from Google listing?

That is a good question. I have duplicate content at several pages - just want to remove it from the others and leave at one only. How much time would google "remember" the content?!

if you remove the content from old web site, it will not be considered as duplicate content

AFAIK, Google only "remembers" content if it is there. In other words, it's only a duplicate penalty if they both exist at the same time.

Right. Or more accurately, 'if it's still indexed.' Remove one and the other should dominate.

once you move the content to the new domain, just delete the old one and you should be fine...
