How long for Robots to work?

    How long untill the robot goes through the site map and all pages are in google search?

    It won't take too long to be crawled, but it will take a while (for a new site) before every page shows up in the index.

    Thats quite a long wait really in this day and age. Why dont they just add the page you submitt and then leave the rest for the robot?

    Because black hatters ruined for everyone.

    If they spidered fast (hours not weeks) then these black hatters would steal traffic until major engines found out.

    There are hundreds of sites that are "G" approved for up to the minute indexing but you have to be a big boy like CNN etc.

    Just my .02

    For sites submited from Google webmaster tools 10 - 25 min (also you need to submit sitemap).

    well in the end it took 7 days.
    I submitted the URl and I made a and submitted a site map.
    Not bad i suppose.
