How Long For Google To See New Backlink?

    I have started a backlinking process for my sites...most do-follow and some no-follow. How long can I expect to wait until Google finds this new backlink. I check webmaster tools and my control panel. Are there any other places to check to see if Google has recognized the new backlinks. Also, will Google list a no-follow backlink in webmaster tools?

    Your google webmaster tools can be at least 4 - 8 weeks behind. From what I have been seeing here lately, webmaster tools is updating maybe every 6 - 8 weeks. So if you post a link, it might show up in your tools 4, 6 or 8 weeks from now - depending on when the last update was.

    To give you an idea of how far behind the google webmaster tools is - I checked my google webmaster tools sometime around July, 9, 10 or 11. And it said that last update was May 28. So mine had not updated in 6 weeks.

    takes a while. google finds signatures in this forum in a day though.

    Google update links everyday, so yo should see them in a day. But all backlinks cant not be seen by any of the backlink checking software, in my knowledge.
