yup ..its nice to know that Google indexes blogs with a much higher speed than the new websites with the unique content..I was unaware of this fact..
I'm not sure about this, but it seems that when I link out to high ranking sites like Wikipedia and Youtube, Google indexes my new blog posts faster. I understand though that spiders crawl from a link in A pointing to B. Does it also happen the other way around? My blog even ranks around 16M at Alexa. Yeah, really really far.
It really depends on how much work your willing to put in your blog or website. backlinking is the key so far to be indexed within a week
