I have recently created the site www.love4teas.com . The index page got indexed in google and yahoo really fast (couple of days) . However the rest of my pages are not indexed. Is this just the regular? Anybody have experience with how long it took their other pages to be indexed after there homepage was?

    thanks for any help

You shouldn't use adsense right after you have created site.its very bad for indexing
(btw your adsense placement is excelent...i love your style)

Don't worry..Its the same for me.Only 2 out of 60 pages are indexed after 2 crawls

thats really depends on how often google bot visit your site, how long it stays, etc. if google bot visits your site often (can happen if you have lots of backlinks) then your internal pages will be indexed sooner. it takes time for google to crawl all the internal pages following the links and it also takes time to undate. so give it couple of more weeks or so and you wil see some backlinks

When I add a new page, I link to it from my PR5 homepage until the new page is indexed. That generally takes a week or two, sometimes less.

EDIT: I also submit an updated sitemap.xml to Google and Yahoo! each time I add a new page.

What I generally see is that a lot of pages are indexed right away then most are removed for a week then they start coming back.

I would agree that using a Google Sitemap is one of the best ways to get the site indexed quick and properly!

Usually when I start a new site, it takes about 36-48 hours to index my homepage, and then another 5-7 days to index the rest of the pages.
And yes, usually they are all indexed at once, then they all disappear, and then get back in the index one by one.

to that would mean 1-2 weeks for indexing a site. And then 2-3 months before running the first proper SERp results?

First proper SERP results can be achieved in less than a week.

On 3rd of January I launched a new site on a totally new domain, and yesterday (6th of Jan) i'm already #20-40 for a couple of targetted keywords.

It really depends on Googlebot, it can be hours or days depending on a lot other factor that Googlebot take into account when deciding when it should crawl a site again. However, I do agree having a sitemap helps googlebot make it's decision.

Well, I can usually "guess" pretty accurately. I have a couple of PR 4-5 sites where I can get sitewide links to my new projects. So getting indexed in less than 72 hours is not a surprise for me.

Create a sitemap and submit it to Google. You have to set up an account with Google first but it's free and easy.

Make sure you submit your sitemap as "sitemap.xml" and make sure it really is in XML format. You can also set the frequency that Google visits, but you should only have them crawl your site if it does, in fact, contain fresh content.

It really depend on the time google bot crawl on your site and the connection between your pages. If your pages does not connect together. Then maybe it takes forever to index your site

Who said its very bad for indexing? It's not - it all depends on the content of the site - and if anything, the adsense bot will help your pages get indexed quicker than they'd normally would.
