How long for CPC to go down with good CTR?

I promote a market that is somewhat competitive. I started last week and I am getting around "Lets Say" about .90 per click with a 1.6% CTR. How long does it usually take to see a little movement as far as lower prices? I am taking loses at .90 cents and would like to be around .35 cents and in close to the same keyword position.

How long does this price change usually take? I am sure it depends on your niche and so forth....but does it take a week worth of data for Google to start to change your position or is it more like 6 months?

The performance of your campaign is typically re-evaluated after every 1000 impressions.

Where did you get that from?

Linkpro, your cpc may never drop by more than a percent or two regardless of your CTR / quality score.

I have just heard about people that start at a specific amount in competitive industries and they will pay 15 cents to be frontpage while others have to pay .85 cents.

    Also another question:

Adwords it seems like only get clicks on main keywords that have tons of searches. I will have a keyword list of 5,000 and I will get clicks and impressions for only the biggest keywords.

Overture: I get impressions and clicks for most of the list.
