    Yahoo seems to pick up new backlinks within days. Google takes a while. My new site's less than a month old and Yahoo lists about half of what's out there. Google & MSN list 0 so far.

    It takes 3 to 4 mos before you have seen the Google backlinks in the SEO tools like the Submitexpress

    The 2 basic commands for backlink checking in MSN and Yahoo is link: and linkdomain:

    Link: will display all links that MSN and Yahoo search knows for a particular page,

    Linkdomain: will display all links that MSN search knows for a particular domain

    Syntax: link:www.anyurl.com or link:http://www.anyurl.com

    Google will show few backlinks for your site and only those which are indexed by it :( Yahoo will show more number of backlinks as compared to others.
