How long for a content site to show up in rankings.

I'm going to be building some content sites. So far I have

1) Researched Keywords
2) Purchased a few Domains
3) Bought X-Site Pro
4) Look at the top ten sites and complied a list of all links and email to links
5) Hired a writer to produce content based on the top twenty articles on the top ten ranked iste
6) Submited my articles to free directories

My next site is to e-mail and the pagerank 0 and 1 link websites and ask for link exchange.

Once some links come in start moving up to 1 and 2 page rank sites

Eventally e-mail all link websites and ask for exchange

Questions

1) Should I pay for a Yahoo Submission
2) How long to show up in SERPS
Not first page, but anywhere?

you can freely submit for any web search engine, but paid submission to yahoo ensure better submission.

Friend, try 1on40.com it is new and good method, as it seem to be. Search about it and join with it. but i am not sure that is approved by google or others

 

search engines should index them rather quickly... but page rank might take a couple months to show

Depends on competition of the keyphrases you target but usualy 1-4 months
