With the time passing by you will get more and more natural backlinks. You rankings in SEs will improve too. Just don't stop writing good, original content.
i just want to add. it takes years to have a successful site , it takes alot of planning and you have to be dedicated to what your doing and skilled. unless your just making spam / then forget about any advice people are offering.. hard work = results sloppy job = no results (people will know how much time you put into your site , you won't fool anyone.)
it will take month for search engines to full index your site to bring you traffic.... so just continue doing what you are doing now..
take me less than 1 day, wht i did is to send link exchange request to some similar sites, big ones , of course, they just ignore my sites, but some small sites give me pretty good traffic. in 2 days , my site jump to 150 on average from less than 50 UV / day . you need quality backlinks, and i dont think submit ur web site gonna do anything good for your traffic. but quality backlinks will.

Keep updating put your site out there where ever it will be accepted. Heres easy ways to get 100 UV in a day. the traffic might not be the best but heres ways > Join Forums: in your niche, post a lot, become good member then put your site in your sig and start submit your content or articles here and there. > Tell everyone: about your site and tell them to tell everyone who maybe interested in your niche to check out your site. > Digg, Stumble, Fark: your articles or content to any place that will let you post it "Link Dumps" where ever or tell others if they can do it for you > LINK TRADES: Try to get an even or better link trade when trading check persons PR and ask them how many uniques they get and check there alexa.com rank. Find these trade sites searching your niche in yahoo or google or on this and other webmaster forums. > Build Links in Directories: Just because you submited to 300 dose'nt mean all 300 will accept you or it may take a while for them to accept you. So just keep on trucking and keep on submiting to directories. > Good Content: Post good content or articles that is not on every other site in your niche. after 2 week get 11k backlink? how you do that as i currently really do a hard job i do link exchange, submit article, submit directories,digg,squidoo,stumble,wat ever i done, but keep the same............ any opinion?
Sorry my explanations are not clear enough. I started to buil my new site in February... more or less in May I've got 11k backlinks. But after having done a lot of links exchange, and subscription in different directories... using some automated tools (50 free directories... etc). When I were following the number of links, I've seen my links increase up to 11k. It has reached a pic at this level. But during 2 weeks after, I've seen the number decrease for about 2k ! Since this period, I've stopped using the free tool to submit my site. Now, the number of links seems quite stable about 11k. Tonight, it is exactly 10977. I am using Link Popularity Check. A+
It really depends on what your sites topic is.. Just make sure to update your website's content reguarly. Try to write articles and don't forget to invite your friends ..
It's been several months since I first posted to this forum and at the time I had probably 150 uniques a day. I'm now getting close to 500 uniques a day. As far as I can tell it's all about adding quality content and acquiring related links so that you rank higher in the serps. Other sites in my industry have close to 70,000 uniques a day so I'm barely scratching the surface.
My new website: Day 1 - 0 uniques, Day 2 - 18 uniques, Day 3 - 84 uniques, Day 4 - 344 uniques, Day 5 - 405 uniques, Today - ??? Most of them from 1 source for about $10 (bought the how-to report on DP). Have some other methods (both paid and free) in place that should kick in any day.
you just have to build free good quality content. That way, your site starts getting discussed and people will come back bringing more and more people.

well, your site get 30 uv a day, my site get less than that a day, how old is your site, mine is about 3 months
you got all of that advice and you reply with this? sorry to be mean but read the advice.. and it's not going to happen overnight you have to give everything time..
