You cant unban yourself. Only the administrators can ban and unban people. I would tell you how to get around it by changing your ip address and new account.

base on my observation it will take forever unless they approve your application in restoring your yahoo Answers account..
Ive tried it using my other Yahoo account.. They banned me for , I dunno what's the reason i dunno too if I beyond the rules..
    So that would be forever..

    Hello Joomee,

Yahoo! Answers are well known for suspending accounts often in error and most users also know that when they see the OOPS Your account has been suspended that there is almost no chance of getting it back.

Yes you can appeal the suspension, however your first appeal is not actually read by a human Yahoo! employee therefore you need to post it twice, i wouldn't get your hopes up though i only know 3 users who have been succesful in getting their account reinstated.

If you want then create a new account, work your way up from Level 1 and read through the rules in case there was anything that you inadvertantly done which contributed to your account being deleted...

also due to trolling on the site sometimes good answers are reported and removed from the site, to minimise your chances of gaining violations and ultimately a suspension do the following:

    -Make your Q&A Private
-Do not Allow fans or contacts
-Change User Name, Avatar & Answering style every once in a while
    -Keep a low profile

i was once suspended on Level 6 at almost 19,000 points, i straight away created a new account, 23 months later my account is still instated at 101,000 (Level 7) with only 1 violation notice due to me keeping a low profile.

    hope this helps
    -Jake

Its most likely indefinitely, just make a new account and try not to break the rules this time

Try to make a new account. Yahoo Answers are not really well regulated. Many troublemakers just gang up and report those who never really break any rule. Many people have complained about the lack of human supervision by Yahoo employees.

I don't think Yahoo! will unban your account if they banned you.

No point for them to do so.

The ban is permanent. You will have to create a new account.

If your efforts are legitimate, then up the ante by complaining to someone higher up. A Vice President perhaps.

    Here is Yahoo's Managment Team:

Pick someone to bitch to. I would not give up so much hard work so easily.

Once the account in yahoo answer suspended you have no chance to reactivate it. Yahoo suspend your account with the reason of suspension.
    Violation of rules suspend account/
ITS banned for ever.No chances to get recovered.

I was also banned from Yahoo! Answers. They are not as strict as Google Adwords. You need a new IP address and create another Yahoo! Answers account.
