    SEO is a long term and on going process.Usually it takes 3 months to get good page rank and manmoth backlinks.

    If you are using Wordpress, then SEO Plugin by Yoast is the must plugin which indexes your articles almost 2 minutes after its publish.

    It is depends upon your keyword competition, if u do not have the competition it will be easy. 2-3 months is enough for non competition keyword.. For competitive keyword it is depend on your SEO work..

    SEO is a daily routine work you have to work every day for fast response and better result, once you have stopped working there are chances of falling your SERP and Page Rank, Decrease Traffic.
    So first of all you have to wait for at least three months for the SEO result and then daily routine work will help you.
