How long does it usually take for your site URL to appear in Google!

i checked your site , keep it light ... google likes it that way .... subit sitemap to webmasters . for more bloging resource goto sourishnath.com , and see category blogging , or visit wordpressinstall.org . both got tut's from me

 

How long it takes for individual sites to show up in index I am guessing can vary quite a lot. Depending on incoming links and how quickly google manages to find your site etc.

This does not relate to new sites. But a while back I posted something in a busy and well known forum. In less than 20 minutes later when searching on google trying to find answer to what I asked about in forum. I found the forum post I made. The forum post had gotten indexed in less than 20 minutes. This of course is only because the high activity and big status of that site, and is in no way an indication of what is "common". But I still found that quite impressive.

 

From few hours to 2 days.
To make Google index your site faster, place few links to bookmarks and 2-3 articles in article directories (and bm them too).

 

It took 2 days after I submitted my new sitemap.

 

just ping your site, your site will be indexed in 2 days.
