How long does it take???

Hey guys. I'm new here and I'm trying to build my account here as well as other forums and domain selling sites.

What's a typical wait time to start seeing bids? I have a listing on Flippa.com and so far no views or bids. I feel it's a decent domain, just not sure what to expect as far as a wait time goes.

Thanks for your thoughts and advice!

Is the domain at auction in flippa or just listed for sale?

It was at auction in Flippa. Closed with no bids. Now it is a listing

Besides Flippa, you can try to list on some more marketplace such Namepros, Namejet, domaining, SEDO,...then advert your business on your Facebook, Twitter, G+,...IMO

Maybe it wasnt a good domain name? What is it? I am curious. Usually if it is a good name it will sell on any of the auction sites.

    Things to consider:
    - sales pitch (gotta oversell it). Look at what some of the other domain sellers are saying, and see how they talk up how 'good' it is, etc.
    - standard flippa listings do not seem to get many bids. (need someone with more experience to recommend which flippa options get a better return)
    - may need to promote it yourself on different platforms (dont ask me how, I am not good at selling on flippa)

Take a look for guides and tips on selling on flippa.

Keep in mind that bad names, with 'great' promotion can get big $$$, while good names, poorly listed, wont get much interest.
