I wrote a quite successful ebook (39 pages with photos) about photography techniques, which has sold about 1,000 copies so far, in about 30 hours.

I just recently put together an Online Business Ebook and it took me only a few hours. It really depends on your level of experience. Are you a proficient writer? Do you know the topic your writing about well?

Abode offers a trial service so you can put together pdf's, you can create 5 pdf's for free. It is great opportunity especially if you just looking to only put an ebook together as an ethical bribe.

An ethical bribe is something your offer for free to your visitors but in return it requires visitors to signup for your mailing list.

It depends on your software. You should have some good PDF creator and unique content already written and it really fast way
it takes from me about 1.5 hour

It all depends on what the content is and who is writing the content. If I am putting one togeather I can usually complete in about 8 hours. However I think the research of the topic takes a lot longer.

If you've got the cash, the experience and the time... hire someone if you're not a writer.
In a hurry... PLR is the best way if you're prepared to spend a little time on personalizing it and making it
    unique to you.
Take a look around your harddrive. Have you picked up some free PLR from any of the Giveaway Events?
If you haven't found these yet, there's a full list of all available giveaways at updates.giveawayvault.com
Found a couple of eBooks or reports in your niche? Do a rewrite; add one to the other if it helps to increase
the value of the work. Editing it completely and adding your own comments goes a long way to having
something quite unique for sale, a product with your name on it, without having to sit in front of a blank
    piece of paper.
Or use it as a bonus or upsell to your existing product.
Or as an one time offer.
There are stacks of ways to make good use of PLR, providing it's high quality. If the PLR site is willing
to show you the reseller site, the reseller licence and has a 100% satisfaction guarantee, you're probably
    on the right page! :)

It took me about two weeks to write a very comprehensive ebook, but it contained a number of resources and links for the user so that took a lot of time.

It depends on the topic, you have choose to write that and the length of your e-book. For a better and clear explanation about your topic, you need time and the length of the book would decide to put that.

As you said, you friend showed you the way to put the ebook, which was not written by him, in just 2 hours, what was that. I never listen or seen such short ways, is it any secret or would you share that with the members here.

I just finished my first ebook and it took about 3 hrs to put it together. That did not include the writing the book, but that also didn't take that long. In fact I did the writing on a flight recently. easy to do when you know the topic your writing on.

There's no quick and easy to get this done. Any well researched, well written book will take time. However, if you're just slapping a bunch of plr content together you may be able to do that fairly quickly but the question is will it be any good?

Depends on the topic and length of the ebook, however I would usually say that the average ebook can be written within one week.

The writing would be the shortest part of the ebook, your reseach would take longer, unless you are already knowledgeable on the subjct. Also the size and the depth of the content.

    Cheers

I think the question is rather: "Will it sell?"
Good stuff is not guaranteed to sell and like wise bad stuff sell. So marketing is even more important than content - sorry to say!

It really depends on the topic. For instance, it probably wouldn't take that long to compose one about tying my shoes as opposed to one to building a house. It's just kind of hard to come up with a number.

This is one of those questions that there really is no firm concrete answer. Whenever I write anything I always make sure it is of high content, so I'll give a day just for quick research even if it's a topic I know well. Then it will generally take me 2-3 days to write up a general outline, index, and content. Then a final day just for proof reading and formatting. That would be for about a 20 page e-book which is about all I ever write. If I am doing a short report or maybe a quick 7 page ebook it only takes me a day:)

I wrote a good freebie ebook a month or two back. About 22 pages in a niche I knew, I think it took me a full working day. Sore eyes and hands by the end of the day though!

Actually, I plan on writing the first draft on an ebook this coming weekend.

    The RULE?

Always write a table of contents first.

I happen to know the topic I'll be writing about this weekend very well and have my TOC, so I don't see how it should take me more than a weekend.
