Hi abcd, In my experience it takes much longer in weekends to get your ads approved. As a matter of fact, it looks like ads added in Saturday and Sunday never get's approved on Monday either. This has happen to me several times, so I try to avoid adding Campaigns, Ad Groups, Ads and keywords during the weekend. On regular week days it can take only minutes before ads and keywords are approved. Hope this helps Rolf
Ads normally take about a day in a half to get approved. Weekends do take a little longer but that is because they do have human editors reviewing the ads
I got mine up after a couple of hours, I guess it depends on your luck as well. If you manage to get past the Yahoo Bot (which isn't half as Anal as the Google's one), and don't get human reviewers your to ad, chances are your ad might be there to stay. But if you're unlucky enough to get stopped by the Bot, the human reviewers will take 1-2 days to get back to you. Weirdest thing is, 1 reviewer might approve your ad, another might disapprove. They have varying standards and guidelines, and this is really very frustrating. If it gets disapproved, wait a while and resubmit them. If you get a reviewer in a good mood, it might get activated again.
If you email them, they will approve your ad a little faster. Tell them how long it has been (if it's been more than a day especially)> Also if your keyword contains adult content it will take longer
