How long does it take to transfer pagerank?

I just did a 301 redirect to my new domain name. How long does it take to transfer pagerank? I noticed it doesn't do it automatically when you do a 301 redirect.

 

I too am looking for this answer.

My guess is it might take time till it's passed to all the datacenters. It's just a guess .

Yes, I shall do that. I'm hoping pagerank and my Search Engine rank doesn't drop. Biggest fear is that I hope Google doesn't put the new domain into a sandbox.

 

It will take until the next toolbar update to show the pr. Probably late July.

 

It actually does not take place at the next Toolbar PR update. It usually takes 2-4 weeks' time, though. Cheers!

 

do you ready up your sitemap and work on google webmaster tools to show G your new site?! better prepare for that and regards on your site!
