I started transfer 20 hours ago from my godaddy to my namecheap account and domains are still somewhere in the air. I can not change nameservers since domain is not active in godaddy anymore and not yet in namecheap. When I started it said it will take 3-4 hours.
Is that normal? EPP codes entered successful aswell...

That should solve the problem. Also make sure you have valid email addresses on file both places.

I had an issue transferring from NameCheap to GoDaddy. NameCheap wouldnt generate the authorization and they sat on my request(s) ( note the trailing S ) for almost 2 months. Finally after repeated emails they just did it one morning. F--- those guys man, I cant stand their service.

damn when i was transfering from yahoo to godaddy it was fast! Now I ant to update my nameservers ( and updated still at godaddy - but nothing happens lol, I want to point domain from parking page to my hosting...)
How long does it take to update dns? I remember that was quick, max 1 hour and now its not - maybe they are mad I am transfering out..

It can take 24 hours or more. Post or PM the domain name. We may be able to see the site when you can't because the dns won't be cached at our ISP.

Godaddy to namecheap - no no no
I tried too with a domain at least 5 times and ended with the domain in the air.

that was a good point, I checked with proxy and everything is fine, why my isp is lagging behind.

The better ISPs clear the cache every 24 hours, some take 48 and there are a few out in the sticks that do it once a week.
