how long does it take to get the full amount of traffic from a campaign?

I've been running through some of my keywords manually on the google search, sometimes it won't show and sometimes it does. Even if I'm the only one bidding on the term.

It's a relatively new domain, QS range from good to great.

I've been running it for about 4 days now.

This can be changed within the campaign settings. i.e there is an option to either "show adverts evenly throughout the day" or "accelerate adverts" (in which case your ads will show up most of the time).

Even when you turn accelerated ads on you may not always see your advert because google will prevent an advert being shown to the same person over and over within a short timeframe in order to prevent your CTR from being damaged.
