    Hi all,

I launched a month ago a classifieds website.
Since then Google bot is crawling every day pages from the website, now he is at around 10.000 pageviews / day.

At some point I've seen that I had only a few pages in google.com but more in the local versions (.de, .ro, .jp, etc).
I thought I should target the website for USA in webmaster tools and so I did.
    But nothing changed.

Right now I have around 450 - 500 in google.com and around 16.000 in the local versions.

Untill now google has crawled around 60.000 - 80.000 pages from the website.

    My questions are:
    - why do I have less pages in google.com compared to local versions
    - is it good that I targeted USA in webmaster tools? should I switch back to not targeted ? when I targeted USA the indexing speed exploded
    - how long does it take untill google includes more pages in the search index

Thank you very much for your answers.

    Best regards,
    Daniel

    For:
    - why do I have less pages in google.com compared to local versions
: may be those pages contain duplicated content?

    - how long does it take untill google includes more pages in the search index
: can be days or weeks or never - if those pages didn't have inbound backlinks from other sites

This is just my opinion anyway.

    Thanks for your response.

The pages do not contain duplicate content, there are at least 90.000 unique content pages.

I wouldn't expect to get all pages indexed that fast but at least a few 1000's .
Yes, backlinks is the thing I will focus on.

    Thanks you,

Google take time to get index all pages. you have many pages, so submit good site-map in webmaster tool and check you internal linking pages if there are any broken link.

Google never indexes all the pages you submit through sitemap. Get some deeplinks to the inner pages and they'll be indexed.

make sure your sitemap is in order no errors in webmaster and then what I'd do is deep-link the page that are not getting indexed.

If you have a nice website, you don't have to worry about this. If your visiters like your website, google will like it too
