It takes you that long. I have an established server with 50+ sites I own and anytime I build a new site its automatically crawled at midnight usually. If your a trusted source you will find this to be true as well. Googles very smart at the game of search, even though most people discredit them but that is because many do not understand how a search algorithm works. Google and other bot driven websites, crawl servers, they may index the pages they find there, and they "Happen" to follow the links within those pages.
