How long does it take to get in google images

On my old blog, a lot of traffic came from google images. I left that blog alone, went back a few months later and saw we were still getting traffic from google images. Now, I made a new blog, and I really want to know how long it takes for me to get into google images, and if there is anything I can do to speed it up/improve my rankings. I am already indexed in google.

I just did some research, and one site said it updates every 6 months. Is this true?

 

I would not waste my time, The traffic is crap there looking for a picture not to buy something.

 

I find google images updates 3-4 times a year.

Once you get indexed, you will find a lot ofther people steal the images and use it in blogs and forums.

When google successfully indexed your images, it will definitely be shown in the image result. It just a matter of time and ranking.
