Read the note at the bottom of the pages in RZ which says
"This site is in no way affiliated with Netscape Communications Corporation. This site is here as a service to directory users and is maintained by a group of editors."

But what of that "Group of Editors"? The post I quoted was written by an editor. To say that what an editor says is false or misleading is to say that the editor was the one misleading the applicants, not I...as it was his word that I went by when I became an editor.

Are you saying that I should disregard the word of editors outside of DMOZ itself... if that is the case then you've placed yourself in a paradox as I am unsure if you should be believed in saying editors should not be believed...

And again, if I am not to believe RZ, and I am not to believe the Guidelines, then what sources do applicants or submitters have?

Who is arguing, I'm simply asking that you give me a source of reliable information concerning DMOZ. If me linking to the guidelines is invalid, and if quoting editors is misleading, then what can people use as a valid source?

What are people to believe, me quoting editors, or you posting Anonymously and claiming to be an editor yourself? I'm not arguing, I'm simply trying to help the end user... and thus far all I can get from you is that I am somehow wrong... yet you will not say how, and you will not give a valid source.

Or just back away and let your fingers rest... I'll understand if you can't back up your claims or find support that quoting editors is misleading. I'm also sure that the people reading this thread will follow the links I've given and see for themselves who in this thread is just trolling and who is actually trying to help.
