HOW Long Does it Take to get at least $500 a month?

I never got to 500$/month, but I got to 300$/month (Consistently) before I abandoned my Adsense endeavors (For a time). It took me a long time (2 years, I think). But I initially started dabbling in Adsense just as a side business/learning endeavour. I was only serious about it for 6 months or such (When my income increased greatly from 60$/month to 300$/month). But the amount of money I put in to promote my websites, buy domains and expand my operations also increased greatly.

The more money you spend on promoting your websites/expanding your operation, and the harder & smarter you work, the faster you will get to 500$/month. You need knowledge, experience, application and hard work to make any substantial amount with Adsense.

 

How long does it take to walk from my house to the corner grocery store. Irrelevant as the question posed here.

 

It all depends upon how well your niche pays and how many visitors you get (along with other factors). It took me 2 years to break the $500 a month mark.
