No its not. Where are you getting that bullshit from? At the moment, the normal waiting time is now down to a few days for MOST sites; though some take up to a month.
Lower traffic sites and poorer quality sites tend to take longer

 

My own YT Adsense account approved with in a week because I started my own unique digital marketing channel.

 

After you've verified domain ownership it should take a few days. If i remember rightly I submitted a website on Monday, and it was approved Weds.

if you want to apply adsense of united states it takes 2-4 days to get completely approved after verifying ad code and for some countries like poland, india, bangladesh takes around 2-4 days for first attempt and for second 3-6 or more. recently i have applied for USA it approved me within 2 days.

well, it will take a month and even some days to get adsense results. some of the categories will take 10 to 20 days. but if you understand google algorithm, India and Pakistan will take 6 months to wait
