Hello, I'm not sure if this is the correct forum for this post, if it is not feel free to move it. I have a question. I recently found myself in a financial predicament and I am looking into several different money making opportunities. Naturally, I started doing some research on Adsense and i basically know what i need to do in order to start earning. However, I need money as soon as possible. Does it take a long time to start earning money with Adsense? I figured Adsense is not a for people who need to make quick money but rather for people who want to invest in the long term. Of course, i also read some threads about people who were able to make the payout in a month or two. Realistically speaking, what is the average amount of time it takes to each the 100$ threshold with Google Adsense? Thanks.
it can be one day, one week, one month or even years depends on how good your website and how good your traffic. I agreed that adsense is not for people who wish to make fast money, it is long term earning.
It totally depends on your website traffic... It can easily take a day, a week, a month or a year for this..
Its very possible if you put the time to learn how to generate some traffic to your site - and there are many ways to do so.
depends on the traffic quantity and quality which likes ur site and love to click some different unique ads for their knowledge .
Well, it will take at the minimum two months. That is because before first payment you need to receive a postcard (PIN to verify your address) so if you are extremely lucky it could take only one month before payment. But of course that is if you have a website and traffic, otherwise it can take months..
All adsense masters have gathered here especially JamesColin! Yeah I do agree with them, you can't specified of one only factor, it depends on many characteristics.
It's not the fastest way to make money, not by a long shot. If you're just starting, it will take a while to find a profitable niche and drive traffic. On top of that there is a two month waiting period before the payout.
Depends on website traffic, I have noticed large short term fluctuations in earnings. You could start making money the first day your ads are place on your blog or it could take a while to make successful conversions. Then your going to have to wait to be paid out which will take two months, so its not really a short term financial solution.
When you log in to your adsense account, you should be able to find how much you've earned to date, and you don't need to earn $100 per month, it's just $100 to be paid. As for how fast you get paid, it depends on your traffic, both the quantity and the type of ads people get, and more importantly use, on your sites.
Took me about 6 months to get rolling, but now I'm paying all my bills every month on adsense alone. Freaking love it!
so i guess i just need to keep working on building traffic and eventually the money will start coming in.
To be honest Adsense is not a quick money making resource. It can be your long term money making source as other members said. If you are in real financial trouble try to find jobs in http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=60 Optimize your site for Adsense. It's the first check that normally takes time. Next check follows the first one without that much of effort. Good luck.
Unless your site has substantial traffic I wouldn't even consider AS as a means for quick money. How long it takes is really irrelevant. It will take time. period. And even then unless you really know what you're doing it is likely to be chump change. I shudder when I see people looking to make a lot of money quickly online and then have to ask basic questions about things such as Adsense. It's not going to happen and you are more likely to dig yourself a deeper hole than get out of the one you are currently in. I don't know what country you're in, but if you want a way to make 'some' money quickly, get in with some CPA networks, find offers such as Home depot gift cards, print up some flyers pointing to a website that redirects to the cpa offer for a home depot gift card in exchange for an email or zip code. Find a Home Depot in your area and walk through the parking lot putting flyers on car windows offering the free gift card, do as many as you can till the manager throws you off their property, then find another Home Depot.. etc.. There are lots of variations of this old idea, but it does work. Just don't expect to get rich and do expect to get thrown off properties. But you'll make 'some' money. Now if you have to ask what a CPA network is.. well..
