How long does it take google to register a backlink?

    Like if I recently got a bunch of high PR backlinks, when is google going to factor that into my 'real' PR.

    I believe backlinks must mature, this means this is a certain amount of time before it's full value is passed over, this is probably done to prevent cheating. I would suggest "months" as well.
