How long does it take for your computer to shutdown ?

    Hi,

    i was just wondering how long it takes other peoples computers to shut down as i have just been looking at a friends Laptop and it took over 3 minutes to shutdown lol. :cool:

    Generally it takes about 1 ~ 2 min. But i don't like to shutdown PC's. Let them work all time =)

    I think it depends on the Specification Buddy and software that has been installed. Or Probably, Your friend have too many Plug-in on its Laptop? but 3 minutes???...that's cool. Lol too...,Oops...I got 10 seconds on average...

    Just like what I did to My PC. All time OL...,then on date of 20 every months?...Someone knock on my Room's Door to remind me: "Hey, it's 20!...Give me Your Cost of electricity bills!". :)

    When do I shutdown my computer? Almost never. Last time, it took about 5 to 10 seconds to get my Mac under.

    1-3 minutes I think, but most of the time I put it on sleep mode, is more useful.

    4 Seconds (time it takes for the power off to occour when holding in the power button) I never turn my PC off unless it has frozen for some unknown reason :)

    before formatting my computer it used to take 1 minute at least. But now It takes only 10 seconds. I just removed all unnecessary programs from my computer and it worked for me in increasing the speed of my PC.
