Hey everyone! Have you seen this happen and my guess is to simply be patient and wait...just would love your input on this or advice??? I'm buying backlinks to help with my own sites for PR, and recently did a backlink check on one of my sites. This is what I found - the PR4 backlink I bought (getting on blogroll on a PR4 site) - the only backlinks showing or individual posts to that PR4 blogroll - which are a PR0, the main root of the site (which is PR4) is not showing up as a backlink...thus - my site - still stuck in PR0 even though I am also adding frequent original content. Is it just a matter of time - 1 to 4 months (who really knows ??) for the root domain PR4 to show up as a backlink to my site? Thanks in advance for any help!
well your backlinks depends on the robots to crawl the site where you created you link! But there is a techniques where robots will crawl your site immediately!
Hi Ericajoieake, thanks but it isn't my site where I created the link - it is the site I have no control over - the robots are crawling the 'fresh content' as that is why the PR0 posts (as they are new) are showing up on my backlink report to my site....it is just the 'root ' domain not being crawled or showing up on my backlink report - care to share any tactics - I can digg it, social marker it - even do massive video submission via trafficgeyser to that site - ...just wondering if that is worth the effort since it isn't my site - and - as it may just be a matter of 'time' for the root domain to show up - the true pr4 backlink purchased... Open to any thoughts on this - I imagine others have this issue if they buy PR4 to 8 backlink purchases???
Hi There, My tactics is simple. I find links that are not known by Google or major search engines. Make a list and will submit them using Add URL page for search engines to crawl and it is just a matter of time for them to appear on SERP. Hey Bipul - so you mean like at http://www.google.com/addurl/ right to add the root domain to? Thanks, didn't think of that as figured already there but worth a shot! Cheers! M
You should see results within a couple of weeks, if the site is a PR 4 it should be crawled at least weekly if they are continuing to add content. Sometimes it can take a couple of months before you see the links reaching their full potential. Adding the url to google isn't going to help you get a good SERP in google. That guy doesn't even have a PR on his site.
Thanks brisbanewebmaster - looks like it is a matter of waiting to see the full potential. Appreciate it! Cheers, M
Just give it sometime, also depending on how you are checking the links also as if using the google tool bar this only shows some of the backward links, better to be checking with google webmaster tools. I have seen this take from 1 month to 3 or 4 months depending on when you added the link in update circle, whether at the start or near the end. I see PR changes in tool bar every 3 months approx.
Hi.. if your another pages is indexed in google, I think you do not need to add using http://www.google.com/addurl/ , this is only for a new site
how important is the sitemap.xml? if the robots crawl all the links in the site .. is it important to update the sitemap.xml file?
You have to be very careful when buying backlinks because many search engines have trackers that will be able to determine artificial backlinks. If this is the case than your results will not show up within search engines and your website may be flagged and can be taken off the search engines. The only thing I can recommend is don't over do it and only place a link on the from page of any website that you buy links from. Stick to that website because it may take several weeks before the website is re-indexed again. Read over A Guide To Buying Backlinks
