It takes about 2days before our site appear on Google. It depends on how ou promote your site, you could be indexed on Google in one day...

 

well i still can't figure if my site is indexed with google or not ? i though it was and i know i have the google bots on it!

Ok i know the backlinks are links that you put on another site to drive trafic to your site

Now does that have to be just the homepage of the site or different links ?


And when you are saying create links
well for example when i add a game to the website

is www:mysite.com/newgame

is that creating a new link ?

Over the last 18 months I have joined some coaching classes and they all say to get immediate ranking the best method is to do posting on as many forums as possible.

I am trying this as well as some of the other methods referred to here.

 

May I know the strategies you have done in order to get index in search engines?

Most of the time, if I have a new site or blog, I submit them to different social bookmarking sites like digg and stumble, everytime I do that, it gets indexed The indexing time just takes few hours.

 

I tried also with digg but it didn't work until I used mixx . Then I was in Google within hour or two. But I was dropped out next day, it took one week before the site was completely indexed and remained stable.

The site is now on page 1 for the term "flash junkies" while this may seem cool it probably will mean nothing in terms of visitors entering your site using this specific term.

Build your keyword target list and start targeting the long tail terms first.

 

just keep building links - even though you're indexed, google has to actually add you to the serps (which takes time, but the more links you get, the quicker you'll get added) and then you have to begin your fight against the competition - which really depends on how quickly you'll be able to jump up the serp ladder

 

You should write in Google site:yoursite.com and you will see what pages are indexed.

There used to be a horrible rumor that brand new domains were sandboxed for 6-12 months before being included in the actual Google database. This was viewed as a proving period or probationary if you will.

Recent personal testing shows this is NO longer true. I bought a new .info domain, loaded wordpress, posted 5 articles and promoted. Within...now this is no BS, within 3 hours I was on the first page of Google.

This was for my actual domain name, not pulling my content from a web 2.0 property. This was three weeks ago. Currently, site is listed #1 for a three word phrase with 5.5 million search results and # 3 for two word phrase with 5.7 million search results.

From here I see 92 indexed pages, write in Google search site:Flashjunkies.com and you will see.

I also don't know what is serp, maybe I should learn.

 

it still doesnt show to me but if you say so i beleive you i copy and paste the link you said and it said page can not be displayed


anyway about the backlinks .... does it have to be just the home page of the site or it could other links in the site 2 ...... or which one is recomended ?

 

I would say you entered site:Flashjunkies.com in url bar of IE, but enter site:Flashjunkies.com in Google search box and you will see what pages are indexed.
